Rodney Weiss, DPT – Rod has been practicing physical therapy for over 20 years. He is a proud graduate of Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia with dual Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in physical therapy, as well as a Doctoral degree in physical therapy from Temple University. He also earned a BBA from George Washington University following high school. Rod is dedicated to the ideal of lifelong learning and continuing education.
He has extensive experience in general and outpatient orthopedic physical therapy, with a particular interest in manual therapy. Post-surgical rehab, sports injuries, low back and neck pain, motor vehicle and work related injuries, and balance and fall prevention are just some of his areas of expertise. He is a long-standing member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA).
Rod is an exercise and sports enthusiast. He is a lifelong fan of The NY Yankees and baseball nostalgia in general. He participated in high school and collegiate wrestling and earned a black belt in martial arts. He’s participated in many local triathlons, including an IronMan. He now enjoys running and swimming, and bike riding with his family.
Rod is a native of Monmouth County, and is now raising his family here. By founding Weiss Physical Therapy & Rehabilitation, Rod is proud to continue to serve the community he knows and loves.
